Remove and rebury any posts that have already started to life out of the ground due to prior storm damage. Lock your gates with a padlock or chain. High winds can cause a gate door to slam against your fence or the side of your house, causing considerable damage. Some gates that are easily removed from their hinges can be taken off and stored in the garage until the storm has passed.
